FAQ’s

What are tournament schedules like?

Tournaments are offered throughout the season. Legacy supports both USA Wrestling Tournaments and Idaway Tournaments. As information becomes available we will update our Tournament Calendar and post this information on Team Snap and our Facebook page. We encourage our wrestlers to attend when possible. Our competition schedule is subject to the dates provided by these two wrestling governing bodies.

Does my child need to attend every practice?

We realize that wrestling is a big commitment and that our wrestlers are kids and students first. Practices are offered 3 or 4 nights a week but it is not a requirement to attend every session. However, Legacy trains from a progressional system and any missed practices will make it more difficult to advance.

Are sibling discounts offered?

We do offer sibling discounts. If registering multiple children please contact us at legacywrestlingidaho@gmail.com after registering the first child for a special registration link.

Are scholarships offered?

It is our goal to see all kids that are interested in wrestling out on the mat. We offer multiple payment options. If these options don’t fit your family’s needs please email us at legacywrestlingidaho@gmail.com so we can discuss alternative options.

What gear does my child need?

For practice all you need to bring is athletic clothes and wrestling shoes. Our gear store will be open a couple of times throughout the season to purchase Legacy singlets, practice gear, and more. We anticipate the store being open sometime in September for a couple of weeks so that our wrestlers will have their gear soon after the season begins.

What if my child decides wrestling isn’t for them and doesn’t complete the season?

We understand that children may discover something isn’t for them. For this reason we do allow our wrestlers to attend a practice before commiting to signing up. With that said once you have registered with Legacy Wrestling Academy we do not offer refunds. We will not credit for any amount of the season not completed, and if you selected a payment plan at signup you are still responsible for any remaining amount owed. While we offer payment plans, we do not offer month to month plans therefore by registering you are entering into a contract with Legacy Wrestling Academy and agreeing to pay the full amount.
